Stride, Inc., is a prominent educational company transforming teaching and learning experiences for millions worldwide. It provides technology-driven educational solutions and comprehensive programs tailored to students, schools, military institutions, and enterprises at the primary, secondary, and postsecondary levels.

Challenge

The client’s existing student information system faced several challenges impacting usability and functionality for key users, including mentors, guardians, students, and administrators. The outdated user interface (UI) did not meet modern standards, making navigation cumbersome and reducing overall user engagement. Additionally, limited tracking and student data management capabilities hindered efficient monitoring of student progress, restricting the application’s role as a centralized resource for student performance and curriculum management. Accessibility issues further limited the system’s effectiveness, preventing it from fully supporting diverse user needs.

  • Front-End Modernization with Angular We revamped the outdated student information system by migrating the front end to Angular, enabling a modern, component-based architecture. This upgrade delivered a more interactive, dynamic, and consistent user experience across all devices.
  • Enhanced Accessibility for All Users The new interface was designed with web accessibility standards in mind, including screen reader support, keyboard navigation, and high-contrast modes. This made the platform more inclusive for users with diverse needs and ensured compliance with accessibility regulations
  • Unified Access via Single Sign-On (SSO) We integrated SSO using Okta, allowing seamless access to the platform through a single login. This significantly simplified the user journey, reduced login-related friction, and enhanced platform security across devices and services.

Cloud Hosting with AWS for Reliability & Performance

The platform was deployed on AWS cloud infrastructure, taking advantage of serverless functions, real-time analytics, and scalable data storage. This ensured high availability, fast performance, and easy scalability as user demand grows.
