Foundation for Application Modernization and Migration
Successive Digital laid the groundwork for application modernization and migration by developing a cloud-agnostic architecture on Azure. This robust infrastructure enabled the client to become a media powerhouse, leveraging advanced technical solutions such as microservices, containers, and serverless technologies. Utilizing Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), the project encompassed over 25 sub-projects involving more than 350 microservices, 600+ nodes, 15,000+ pods, and 45,000+ containers. AKS provided the desired scalability, high performance, automation, and security needed for this extensive project.
Automated CI/CD Pipeline and Enhanced Security
Successive Digital built an automated CI/CD pipeline that standardized the deployment workflow using Terraform, significantly improving productivity through environmental parity. The integration of automatic SAST and DAST testing within the CI/CD pipelines ensured secure, automated deployments. This comprehensive approach to security automation covered the entire data lifecycle, providing a robust foundation for data management and promoting value-driven initiatives across the client’s operations.
Scalability, Flexibility, and Business Continuity
The implementation of cloud-agnostic architecture and advanced technologies introduced new business opportunities and ensured business continuity. The infrastructure offered unlimited scalability and flexibility, supported by multi-tenancy capabilities. Subscription-based pricing models helped reduce operational costs, while the deployment of new technologies fostered better productivity and efficiency. This strategic approach allowed the client to achieve their goals while maintaining high standards of performance and security.
Centralized Observability and Real-Time Monitoring
To support proactive incident management and maintain service reliability across thousands of microservices, Successive Digital implemented centralized observability using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana. This gave engineering teams full-stack visibility, actionable alerts, and detailed telemetry across all environments—significantly reducing mean time to resolution (MTTR) and strengthening operational resilience.
Agile DevOps Culture and Governance
Beyond tooling, the modernization initiative promoted a culture shift. Successive Digital introduced a structured DevOps governance model that fostered collaboration between development, security, and operations teams. Agile release cycles and standardized templates improved time-to-market, while governance policies ensured compliance, version control, and operational consistency across globally distributed teams.
Cost Optimization and Resource Efficiency
The architecture was designed with efficiency in mind. By leveraging right-sizing strategies, auto-scaling configurations, and spot instances where feasible, Successive Digital helped the client significantly reduce infrastructure costs. In-depth cost analytics and usage reports enabled continuous optimization, ensuring that business units only paid for the resources they used—without compromising performance or availability.
